Could poetry save the world? As the wars abound, could its Words give us time to stop and think about where we are going?

I hope so!

Words: the greatest human invention. I have been fascinated by them since the days I had the luxury to read Shakespeare, English textbooks and medical books the whole day as I approached my 8th birthday. There is a certain beauty in them that turn the adage about words and images on its head.

Images make you see, words make you feel. Sometimes we have all these images thrown at us which fire the inner child with the vivid imagination.

Here are words and sounds to rekindle the fondness for that child-like employment of mind-sight; imagine the words in order to see the reality in the way your soul understands best. This profound deference to reality kills our indifference to the feelings and plight of the other souls which walk with us; it makes us more human.

Sincerely yours,

Follow the tags at the bottom of each poem to get inspired on that topic, or just discover words in that light. Poetry is not a puzzle it is a conversation: the poet gives the words and your imagination illustrates it all beautifully like a sensual tango.

  2. Hi May,

The pleasure is mine. Although I knew him just for a short while, he was a special young man I must say. God will heal and refill, while he watches you from beyond. Stay blessed.
    You’re welcome
